GHK-Cu

One of the most well-characterised compounds in dermal and connective tissue biology, with decades of research behind it. GHK-Cu is a copper-binding tripeptide found naturally in human plasma. Its concentration declines significantly with age, from around 200ng/ml in early adulthood to around 80ng/ml by the age of 60, a decline that correlates with reduced collagen production, slower wound healing, and deteriorating skin structure. Its core mechanisms are well established. GHK-Cu stimulates collagen and elastin synthesis, activates matrix metalloproteinases involved in tissue remodelling, promotes cellular migration, and supports angiogenesis in wound healing models. It also demonstrates antioxidant activity and has been shown to modulate over 4,000 genes in human fibroblast studies, covering pathways far beyond simple collagen production. Particularly relevant for extracellular matrix remodelling, dermal biology, wound healing, and hair follicle research protocols. Also studied for its role in nervous system support and anti-inflammatory signalling. Available as a standalone 50mg pen or as a component of both the GLOW Blend and KLOW Blend.
